Greetings!,
I
hope all of you in our community are well and safe and are on your way
to recovery from Hurricane Sandy. Having gone through my own tragedy
early this year with the fire at 300 Washington St, I know that Hoboken,
and the wonderful people in it WILL help rebuild and make it possible
for people to have lives again. If it weren't for the good will of
others, we would not be where we are now and I will never forget that.
Please take a look at the list below of the many fundraising efforts and
try to help out by attending/giving in any way you can.
All of
the November HHH events have been canceled. Instead I would like to
promote all of these wonderful fundraising events for others in hopes
that they get a huge turnout and the people of our town who are
suffering right now find some relief.
I urge you to go out to
dinner, enjoy nights out with your friends and help our local
establishments get back on their feet. Even the smallest businesses
were affected and have lost business. Please try to support Hoboken and
shop locally when buying your holiday gifts. Please volunteer your time
if you can. Many people need help and there are so many opportunities
to do so.

Our Lady of Grace Church, 400 Willow Ave. needs volunteers on
Saturday, 10am -3pm to help remove flood damaged items from the
basement. Go through the Willow Ave. church parking lot, make left
behind the OLG Rectory and ask for Vinny! He has gloves and masks for
you. Any help is greatly appreciated! Let's Restore and Rebuild

Hoboken Charter School Fire Fundraiser Tuesday, September 18th 6:00-9:00
As
many of you know, I lost my own home at 300 Washington Street in a
devastating fire in February, and many of you rallied to support me for
which I am forever truly grateful. Now it is time for me to "Pay it
Forward" to help the Hoboken Charter school as they recover from
the fire they suffered at their school this past Thursday morning, causing hundreds of local Hudson County children without a school to attend. Please
come out and help a great cause on Tuesday, September 18th, 2012 from
6pm-9pm at the Turtle Club in Hoboken, NJ and raise needed funds to
help the Hoboken Charter School recover from the devastating fire. If
you cannot attend, please consider making a donation. Thank you!

An Open Letter to the City of Hoboken:
The residents and owners of the 300 Washington Street fire would like to
express our deep appreciation and gratitude to all for your love,
support, and generosity during this most difficult time. The outpouring
we have received has been overwhelming. While we may have lost our
belongings and our beloved historical building, we have witnessed the
kindness, beauty and generosity that embodies Hoboken. You have come to
our aid with donations, kind words, and a loving hand. For that you
will always be in our hearts.
We
especially want to thank the first responders, including: Chief Richard
Blohm and the Hoboken Fire Department, Chief Anthony P. Falco, Sr. and
the Hoboken Police Department, Director of Public Safety John Tooke,
Hoboken Volunteer Ambulance Corps, and The Hoboken Office of Emergency
Management. In addition, we extend our gratitude to Mayor Dawn Zimmer
and her staff, the Hoboken Rotary Club, and St. Peter & Paul's
Church, who all worked tirelessly to ensure that the displaced residents
had food, shelter, and comfort. The support continued well after the
fire. Many of these groups and individuals have helped us as we work
towards the rebuilding process. Without such support, this process would
have otherwise been a daunting task.
We
would very much like to thank everyone who made donations of clothing,
household items, and money to help us get back on our feet. Thank you to
the local businesses that hosted events for us or donated gift
certificates to raise funds. We send our appreciation to all of the
Hoboken residents, volunteers, local business owners, charity and social
group organizers, website owners, bloggers, newspapers, and other
media outlets who helped spread the word and raise awareness of our
situation and the efforts to raise funds. The list of supporters spans
pages. While we can't name them all here, we are eternally grateful for
each and everyone's help.
As
numerous Hoboken residents have mentioned to us, our building was one
of beauty that embodied the life blood of Hoboken. We hope to rebuild
and bring back the splendor of it for everyone to enjoy again, as we
once did.

Come relive those memories in an Adult Trick or Treat Bar Crawl to 5 downtown bars in Hoboken from 6-11PM. Drink specials, raffles and prizes, and candy treats at every bar!! For only $5 per person, you will get a Trick or Treat bag with some goodies to get you started. Crawl to as many bars as you dare. The more bars you go to, the better your chances are to win some fabulous prizes. So join us in a frightful night and drink your demons away!
When you get there, look for Tiffany and Krysten (who will be dressed for Halloween as Red Beer Pong Cups). We will be selling bracelets for $5.00, which will be available starting 30 minutes prior to the crawl at Texas Arizona, and throughout the crawl. The first 100 guests will receive a trick or treat bag, raffle ticket, and treats in their bag. Additional raffle tickets will be sold throughout the crawl too. Raffles will take place once an hour at each bar. Bars will be giving out goodies, treats, and giveaways and offering drink specials below to those with bracelets.

After trying out for the show year after year, he finally made his way INTO the Big Brother House this summer and fulfilled a lifelong dream. Not only did he lose over 100 lbs since last year to get in shape for the game, but he celebrated his 40th birthday in the house, but he met his celebrity crush, Tori Spelling! Adam has earned his way into the final 3 and is very close possibly winning a half-million dollars!

Players Sports League is Looking for Bowlers for their Fall League! Begins Next Week!
Player Sports League (PSL), 2010 Fall Bowling League, which will be held at Bowl Rite Lanes in Union City, NJ will be starting soon. We will be running leagues on Mondays and Wednesdays starting Sept. 13th for the Monday League. and Sept. 15th for the Wednesday League.
We ask that people stick to at least 4 to 6 members per team. You will play three games and price includes shoe rental and bowling ball use.I am in Montreal this weekend and will have limited access to emails but I will try to get back to you asap if you have any other questions.
Monday's League will run for 6 weeks and the price is $96.00 individually. Weds. League will run for 7 weeks and the price is $105.00. If you are interested please email playersportsleague@gmail.com for more details or to sign up.

8:30 AM-6:00 PM for a fun filled day trip to three Long Island
Wineries! (Martha Clara, Pindar, Laurel Lake) We will also be stopping
on the way back at Briemere Farms for those would would like to purchase
homemade pies and fruits and vegetables. This trip is an excellent way
to network and socialize, all while tasting delicious wines made in New
York state! The bus will pick up and drop off in Hoboken, and
responsible drinking is allowed on the bus. Come alone, or bring
friends. It is sure to be a great day with HHH! We will be also
raffling off some prizes on the bus and doing some giveaways. Cost is
only $99.00 per person + $4.00 PayPal fee. Booking your trip is the
