Join the Hoboken Happy Hour Group this Saturday July 30th for a Downtown Hoboken Scavenger Hunt! Grab a team or be placed on one to meet new people. All you need is a digital camera, a team, and a drive to win!!!!! Buffet Lunch included. **If you plan on attending the event, please send an e-mail Krysten at kmack1307@msn.com and tell us how many people will be on your team, or if you would like to be placed on an existing team. We want to make sure we have enough food and prizes for everyone. . Cost $30.00 per person + $3.00 PayPal Fee or email us to let us know you're coming and you can pay at the door on Saturday . Many do not feel comfortable paying via PayPal, so you CAN pay CASH on the day of the event, just RSVP by Wednesday, July 27th and let us know that you plan to attend. Brand new to the Hoboken Hunt this year- Where's Waldo (task completion activity).  Yes, there will be a "Waldo" roaming around Hoboken...find him and you get points for your team.  Beware, he may try to avoid you at all costs.  So you need to decide if you should pursue him or go on to different activities.  This is guaranteed to be a hit!!!!     

The Hoboken Hunt Details  -Please send an e-mail and  indicate if you will have a team or if you would like to be placed on an existing team

-Meet at The Village Pourhouse at 2:00PM to receive Hoboken Hunt materials/directions, strategize with your team, and have a drink before you go

-The Hunt will last about two hours and your time will start once your team feels ready (or drunk enough) to be on your way

-Meet back at The Village Pourhouse for food, prizes, and (of course) more drinks from 4:00-ish until you decide to go home:) 

The Hoboken Hunt Layout    Pictures- Each team must bring a digital camera (preferably with an empty memory card)  and will receive a list of pictures worth 100 or 150 points.  The more points, the more difficult it may be to obtain the picture.  The teams must try to take as many pictures as they can, which will be added to their overall Hoboken Hunt score.  Every team member MUST be in EVERY picture, except for the person taking the picture; therefore, the teams are required to stay together as a team the entire time- no separating.   Strategy and creativity is definitely required and encouraged.  

Item Collection- Each team will receive a list of items worth 50 or 100 points.  They will also receive a bag to hold all of the items that are collected.  Teams are able to collect as many items listed as possible within the two hour time frame.  The more points, the more difficult it may be to obtain the item.  Creativity and a keen eye are required for this activity.  

Task Completion- Each team will receive a list of tasks that can be completed for either 100 or 150 points.  A Hoboken Hunt "insider" will be present to witness the completion of each task.  Upon the completion of the task, the team will receive physical verification (ticket or certificate) indicating the number of points earned for that task.  The more points, the harder it may be to complete the task.  Skill, strategy, creativity, and tolerance (hehehe) is required for this activity.

Total Points- Points are earned and accumulated through the completion of the above activities.  The Hoboken Hunt organizers will tally the scores to determine the winners. 

There will be 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd place prizes!!!  So bring your "A" game!!!

  As a side note: "No, we cannot be bribed"- believe me, this has been attempted in previous Hoboken Hunts and it WON"T work!!!
