Want to meet new people, make new friends, and try different bars and restaurants around Hoboken? This is the group for you. I know that for many of us working out is just one of the worst thing in the world and many of us have always had and still have a New Years Resolution to get Back into Your Skinny Jeans but never get there.We fail time after time. It is time to stop failing and start succeeding.Tiffany Shenman, President of HHH and I (Your Boot Camp Coach David Cabral) have come up with a solution to help you spice up your workouts in 2010.
We are going to run a Private Boot Camp Just for the Hoboken Happy Hour Members. This is Exclusive and No one will be let in to this boot camp but HHH members.
Here are the details:
Days: Saturdays
Time: Show up at 12 pm , class begins at 12:15 (Must Have at 6 People Per Class)
Duration: 35 minutes (No Time To Waste)
Cost: $15.00 (Normally $25.00 a Class)
Space Limited: 15-20 people ( space will fill up fast)
We will be meeting at the St. Mathew Trinity Lutheran Parish Center on 8th and Washington St. You can't miss it is right on the corner of the Block.

 Chief Falco issued the warning below about Hoboken St. Paddy's Day. . . note the fines are now $2000pass this along to your friends. . .
"Dear Residents and Visitors of Hoboken,
On Saturday, March 6, 2010, the City of Hoboken will be hosting the annual St. Patrick's Day Parade. The parade is very popular and draws tens of thousands of people to our city. At times, some of our residents and guests become disorderly and unruly making it a difficult day for our residents who do not celebrate the day. In order to keep our city under control and create a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone, I will have every one of my officers working on that day with almost all of them, out on our streets, on patrol. My officers will be strictly enforcing all criminal and motor vehicle laws as well as all city ordinance violations. The following are four violations where there will be a zero tolerance policy in effect for the day:
- City Ordinance 145-23 A/B (Consumption of Alcohol/Open Container in Public)- Any person seen possessing an open container of alcohol in public faces maximum penalties of a fine up to $2,000, and the possible sentence of having to perform Community Service.
- City Ordinance 145-22 (Urinating in Public)- Any person observed urinating on public streets, sidewalks or in parks faces maximum penalties of a fine up to $2,000, and the possible sentence of having to perform Community Service.
- New Jersey State Statute 2C:33-12 (Maintaining a Nuisance)- House parties have become our largest problem on the parade day. Last year my officers responded to 131 calls for disorderly house parties. This year, when a party is deemed to be unreasonably reckless, disorderly and unsafe, the renter or owner of the apartment or house will be charged with this statute. A person is guilty of this offense when one "by conduct which is unlawful or unreasonable, knowingly or recklessly creates or maintains a condition which endangers the safety or health of persons", or when "one knowingly conducts or maintains a premises or place where persons gather for purposes of engaging in unlawful conduct." The maximum penalties for this offense are imprisonment of up to 6 months and fines not to exceed $1,000.
- New Jersey State Statute 2C: 33-2a (Disorderly Conduct, Improper Behavior)- A Person is guilty of disorderly conduct if "with purpose to cause public inconvenience, annoyance or alarm, or recklessly creating a risk thereof he, (1) Engages in fighting or threatening, or in violent or tumultuous behavior, or (2) Creates a hazardous or physically dangerous condition by any act which serves no legitimate purpose." This offense carries maximum penalties of a 30 day prison term and a fine not to exceed $500.
I ask all the residents and guests of our city to please be considerate to everyone on this day, and to inform all family and friends to act respectful and orderly. Once again, we want this to be an enjoyable, but more importantly, safe day. The Hoboken Police Department will do everything within their powers to keep it as such. Finally, Do Not Drink and Drive. You may injure yourself or others, and if caught, you will be arrested.

I know that for many of us working out is just one of the worst things in the world and Never really have time to get in a Great workout because there is always something to do.Hoboken Boot Camps is have a 35 minute Class Every Saturday. Now many of you might be wondering what the workouts are like or maybe are wonder How can you get in a great workout in 35 minutes?Well I will tell you that no 2 classes are the same. We use different equipment for example: Kettlebells, Strength Bands, Medicine Balls, Body Weight Exercises and more....I make sure each class is Fun, Different and Challenging for each Individual. This means that Anyone and Everyone can participate in the Saturday Class. I customize my workouts to make sure that you succeed in every class and never feel left out or feel like you don't fit in. I know that for many of us working out is just one of the worst thing in the world and many of us have always had and still have a New Years Resolution to get Back into Your Skinny Jeans but never get there.We fail time after time. It is time to stop failing and start succeeding.
Tiffany Shenman, President of HHH and I (Your Boot Camp Coach David Cabral) have come up with a solution to help you spice up your workouts in 2010.
We are going to run a Private Boot Camp Just for the Hoboken Happy Hour Members. This is Exclusive and No one will be let in to this boot camp but HHH members.
Here are the details:
Days: Saturday (First Class 01/16/10)
Time: 12 pm and 12:40pm (Must Have at 6 People Per Class)
Duration: 35 minutes (No Time To Waste)
Cost: $15.00 (Normally $25.00 a Class)
Space Limited: 15-20 people ( space will fill up fast)

 Are you an aspiring wine enthusiast with a thirst to learn more? The Melting Pot Hoboken is now the new home of Zita Keeley's Wine School. Starting Sunday November 15th 2009, join wine expert, Zita Keeley CSW as she teaches you the basics of tasting wine, how to order in restaurants, how to buy store and serve wine, how to pair wine and food and much more.
You'll learn the following during the the two-hour weekly sessions:
·How to taste wine - learning the "5 S's"
·The differences in wine styles
·How to choose wine with confidence
·How to read a restaurant wine list
·How to buy, store and serve wine
·How to pair wine with food
·Mostly... How to ENJOY wine!
